4 places your Naukri resumes can go — pick one per run

The Naukri Resume Downloader add-on doesn’t just save files one by one — after you hit Start, every resume in a job’s Applies list can be routed to exactly one of four destinations. Watch the walkthrough, then use the notes below to pick the right one.

TeamOB - SafalHires · 5 min read · Naukri Add-on

You stay logged into Naukri the way you already do. The add-on walks the Applies list, fetches each new resume from that session, and delivers it to the destination you picked before pressing Start. You cannot send the same run to two places at once — computer, Drive, webhook, or SafalHires. Switch the destination any time in the add-on; the next run follows the new choice.

Pick one destination per run. One credit per new resume that actually arrives there.

1. Download to your computer

This is the default. Files land in the recruiter’s normal Downloads folder, named after the candidate — the same result as clicking Download on Naukri yourself, just without doing it 80 times.

Use this when the job is a one-off, when you want a quick manual pass before anyone else sees the pile, or when there is no ATS in the picture yet. There is nothing to connect. Open the add-on, leave the destination on this computer, press Start.

Best for

Solo recruiters, first-time use, and roles you will review locally before uploading anywhere else.

2. Sync to Google Drive

Connect a Google account once: Connect Google Drive, then Allow. After that, every run that uses Drive creates — or reuses — a folder path of Naukri Resume Add-on → [job title]. Re-run the same Naukri job next week and the new people go into that same folder. The add-on does not spawn a second folder for the same job.

The Google permission is narrow on purpose. The add-on asks to create files, not to browse the rest of your Drive. Sign-in with Google on the SafalHires account is a separate step from this Connect button.

This is the right destination when the team already shares candidate files in Drive, or when you want a backup that lives outside the ATS. One person connects; the folder is wherever that Google account can see it.

Permission note

We only request permission to create files. The add-on does not ask to read or list the rest of your Drive.

3. Sync to any ATS with an API (webhook)

If your stack already has a place for resumes, you do not need another inbox. In the add-on, pick Other ATS, paste an HTTPS webhook URL, and save. Every new resume is POSTed as multipart form data: the PDF plus job_title, applicant_name, naukri_job_id, application_id, and filename.

Requests are signed with your own secret in an X-Addon-Signature header so the receiving end can reject anything that did not come from your add-on. Failed deliveries retry automatically. If the endpoint still rejects the file, the credit comes back — you are not billed for a resume that never landed.

The webhook does not care what sits behind it. n8n, Zapier, or a custom endpoint on your ATS all work the same way: receive a POST, store the file, map the fields. That is enough for most agencies that already have a recruiting stack and just need Naukri Applies flowing in without a recruiter downloading each one by hand.

Best for

Agencies with an existing ATS or internal tool that can accept a signed HTTPS webhook.

4. Sync to SafalHires AI resume screening

This destination sends resumes into a connected SafalHires account instead of a folder or a webhook. You do not have to stand up a separate SafalHires job just to receive the files. Scoring is what makes the destination useful: each profile can be matched against a job description, ranked, and surfaced as a Top Pick without a recruiter opening every PDF first.

The add-on and SafalHires screening are still separate products with separate credits. Connecting them means Naukri Applies become a ranked shortlist instead of a zip of unread files. If you only need the files stored, use Drive or the webhook. If you want the pile ranked the moment it leaves Naukri, use this one.

Best for

Recruiters who want resumes ranked and shortlisted automatically the moment they are pulled from Naukri, skipping a manual review pass.

One credit either way

The destination does not change the price. It is 1 credit per new resume successfully delivered — to a Downloads folder, a Drive folder, a webhook, or SafalHires. Applicants the add-on has already pulled for that account are skipped and cost nothing, including when a teammate already downloaded them on the shared key.

If delivery fails at the far end — a broken file from Naukri, a Drive rejection, a webhook that refuses the POST — the credit is refunded automatically. You are never charged twice for the same person, and you are never charged for a resume that did not arrive.

Two practical habits still matter before you press Start. Naukri only shows 40 applicants until you change the Show menu on the Applies page — pick the largest number so the add-on can see the full list. And pick the destination first. Changing it mid-run is not how the add-on works; finish the run, switch, then run again for anyone still new.

Try it with 100 free downloads — no card required.

Install the Chrome add-on, pick a destination, and run it on your next Naukri Applies list.
